The EARS team participated in the 18th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering (18ECEE), held in Berlin from 14 to 18 September 2026. Marta Šavor Novak presented the development of an exposure model for schools in Croatia, while Ante Pilipović discussed methods for quantifying the impact of targeted seismic retrofitting on risk reduction in urban areas.
At the 13th U.S. National Conference on Earthquake Engineering (13NCEE), held from 13-17 July, 2026, in Portland, Oregon, USA, Maja Baniček represented the work on the evolution of modal properties of a representative four-story URM building in the historic center of Zagreb, Croatia, under progressive damage and reversible retrofit strategies

The first meeting was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. At the meeting, all members of the team and their responsibilities in the implementation of the project were introduced, the activities for the first year were announced and a discussion was held.
